2. Scroll UP or DOWN to choose which catalog:
ST, M, NGC,
PLANETS, or NEW. When the desired catalog is dis-
played press ENTER.
3. Scroll UP or DOWN to set the blinking digit to the desired
catalog number. Press ENTER to advance to the next
digit. Repeat until the complete catalog number is entered.
4. Press ENTER to finish the setting, Press ENTER again to
display object coordinates. Press ENTER again to display
scrolling object description.
Finding a celestial object With the telescope
1. Select an object from a catalog as defined above.
2. Press MODE.
3. Scroll UP or DOWN until
FIND is displayed. Press ENTER.
The display shows the direction and distance to the object.
Move the telescope so the numbers count down until the
displayed angles are zero.

option, any warranted instrument that proves to be defective, provided it is returned postage paid to:

of purchase (such as a copy of the original invoice) is required.
This warranty does not apply if, in Orion’s judgment, the instrument has been abused, mishandled,
or modified, nor does it apply to normal wear and tear. This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
