handset microphone and avoid touching the keypad with your fingers
until the handset receiver rests on your ear. Smart Key Lock will disen-
gage as soon as you remove the handset receiver from your ear.
To activate / deactivate smart key lock:
1. Go to Phone Setting > Smart Key Lock .
2. Use and to select ‘ON’ / ‘OFF’.
3. Touch to confirm.
A manual key lock can also be activated to prevent the accidental
triggering of keys during standby mode or sleep mode.
To activate / deactivate manual key lock:
• In standby mode touch then immediately touch . indi-
cates key lock is activated.
NOTE Only the menu key functions during key lock stage. However,
upon receiving an incoming call the TALK key will be automatically
unlocked to enable the answering of the call. Key lock is temporarily
deactivated when an emergency number is dialled and the talk key is
pressed.
Baby call allows you to set a number to automatically dial when any key
(apart from
) is touched. To de-activate baby call repeat steps 1 to
3, selecting ‘OFF’ instead of ‘ON’
To set baby call:
1. Go to Phone Settings > Baby Call .
2. Use and to select ‘ON’.
3. Touch to confirm.
4. Use 0 - 9 to enter the baby call number. Touch to delete numbers
i f an error is made.
5. Touch to confirm.
Incoming calls are answered automatically when lifting the handset from
the cradle when auto answer is activated.
