GETTING STARTED
MAIN UNIT INSTALLATION
1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert the batteries, matching the polarities.
3. Press
RESET
after each battery change.
NOTE
Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat
such as sunshine or fire.

REMOTE SENSOR INSTALLATION
1. Slide open the battery door.
2. Slide channel switch to channel 1.

4. Insert the battery, matching the polarities (+ / -).

after each battery change.
6. Close the battery door.
The sensor reception icon shows the status:

NOTE
After every sensor initialisation, the main unit may
take up to 30 minutes to receive the time from the sensor.
7. Secure the sensor in the desired location using the
wall mount hole or double sided adhesive tape.
For best results:
•
Place the sensor within 30 m (100 ft) of the main unit.
•
Place the sensor out of direct sunlight and moisture.
•
Position the sensor so that it faces the main unit,
minimizing obstructions such as doors, walls and
furniture.
•
Place the sensor in a location with a clear view to the
sky, away from metallic / electronic objects.
•
Position the sensor close to the main unit during cold
winter months as below-freezing temperatures may
affect battery performance and signal transmission.
TIP
The transmission range may vary depending on
many factors. You may need to experiment with various
locations to get the best results.
CLOCK
CLOCK RECEPTION
This product is designed to synchronize its clock
automatically with a clock signal received from provided
remote sensor.
To enable / disable signal reception:
Press and hold
to enable or
to disable signal
reception.
NOTE
Reception takes 2-10 minutes. If the signal is
weak, it can take up to 24 hours to get a valid signal.
Clock signal reception indicator:

NOTE
Clock reception is dependent on the successful
transmission of data from remote sensor. If

MANUALLY SET CLOCK
To set the clock manually, disable the clock signal
reception first.

The settings order is: time zone, 12/24 hr format, hour,
minute, year, calendar mode (month – day / day – month),
month, day and language.
Time zone offset sets the clock +/- 23 hours from the
received clock signal time.
NOTE
If you enter + 1 in the time offset setting, this will
give you your local time plus one hour. If you are in the US
(BAR800A) set the clock to:
0 for Pacific time
+1 for Mountain time
+2 for Central time +3 for Eastern time
NOTE
The language options are English (E), German
(D), French (F), Italian (I), and Spanish (S).
To select clock display mode:

A chaque initialisation de la sonde,
l’appareil principal peut prendre jusqu’à 30 minutes pour
recevoir l’heure depuis la sonde.
7. Sécurisez la sonde à l’emplacement choisi, en utilisant
la fixation murale ou le ruban adhésif double face.
Pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats :
•
Positionnez la sonde à 30 m maximum (100 pieds) de
l’appareil principal.
•
Ne placez pas la sonde directement face aux rayons
du soleil ou en contact avec des matières humides.
•
Positionnez la sonde pour qu’elle soit face à l’appareil
principal, en minimisant les obstacles tels que porte,
murs et meubles.
•
Dirigez la sonde directement vers le ciel, éloignée des
objets métalliques / électroniques.
•
Positionnez la sonde à proximité de l’appareil
principal pendant les mois d’hiver puisque le gel
peut endommager le fonctionnement des piles et la
transmission du signal.
ASTUCE
La portée de transmission peut varier en
fonction de nombreux facteurs. Il peut être nécessaire
d’essayer plusieurs emplacements pour obtenir les
meilleurs résultats.
HORLOGE
RECEPTION DE L’HORLOGE
Ce produit est conçu pour synchroniser automatiquement
l’horloge avec le signal radio reçu de la sonde sans fil
fournie.
Activer / désactiver la réception du signal :

REMARQUE
La réception prend 2-10 minutes. Si le
signal est faible, cela peut prendre jusqu’à 24 heures pour
obtenir un signal valable.

La réception de l’horloge dépend de la
bonne transmission des données émises depuis la sonde
