Obstacles
Use the side of the mower to cut close to large obstacles, such as fences or walls.
If a blade hits something or the mower starts to vibrate, stop the engine immediately,
disconnect the spark plug cap, and check for damage . Striking objects may
damage the blades, bend the crankshaft, and/or break the mower deck or other components.
Vibration usually indicates serious trouble.
●
A worn, cracked, or damaged blade can break, and pieces of the damaged blade can become
dangerous projectiles. Thrown objects can cause serious injury. Inspect the blades regularly,
and do not operate the mower with a worn or damaged blade.
Gravel and Loose Objects
Gravel, loose stones, and landscaping material can be picked up by the mower and thrown many
feet with enough force to cause serious personal injury and/or property damage.
prevent potential injury from thrown objects by releasing the blade control lever to stop the blades
before reaching areas with gravel, loose stones, or landscaping material.

Engine oil inspection,change and refill
Engine oil and hydraulic oil are both pollutants to the environment. Dispose of used oil at a certified
recycling center or according to your state and local regulations.
●
When performing engine oil lubrication or replacement, wait for at least 10 minutes for the
engine to cool down and proceed with caution to avoid burns.
Change engine oil after 5 hours of actual use or 1 month of ownership. After initial oil change,
change oil after every 50 hours of use or every 6 months of ownership.
Use 074qt. (0.7L) of SAE10W-30 engine oil (See Engine Manual)
Changing the oil:
1.
Close the fuel valve.
2.
Wipe around the oil filler, then
take off the oil filler cap/dipstick
3.
Place the oil pan underneath.
Tilt the entire machine to the right.
The oil will then drain from the filler neck.
Drain all engine oil.
4.
Refill with the proper engine oil into the
Filler Neck. After lubricating with engine
oil, securely tighten the oil filler cap by
hand to keep it from becoming loose.
Maintenance:
Use the dipstick to check the oil level
and quality. If the oil does not lie between
the upper level and lower level, replenish
to bring the oil up to the upper level.
Take care not to over fill with oil.
When measuring with the dipstick, do not
screw it in place.
Note:
If the oil filler cap and drain plug are only lightly inserted, oil could leak out.
Be sure to fasten them securely.
