Installation

Installing the 8500S

Allow about 2 hours for installation.

Installation consists of: (1) unpacking and inspecting the 8500S, (2) mounting the
8500S in a rack, (3) connecting inputs, outputs and power, (4) optional connecting of
remote control leads and (5) optional connecting of computer interface control
leads.

When you have finished installing the 8500S, proceed to “Quick Setup,” on page 2-
15.

DO NOT connect power to the unit yet!

If you note obvious physical damage, contact the carrier immediately to make
a damage claim. Packed with the 8500S are:
