4. Find the origin of the coordinate system.
The origin of this coordinate system is the lower-left corner, at FC00. In the
illustration, the connector identified is FC74.
5. Inspect the pins on the rear side of the midplane.

Inspect the Pins on the Rear Side of the Midplane
For this procedure, you need:

Flashlight
■
Magnifying glass
1. Identify the prerequisite and subsequent tasks you must perform in
conjunction with this procedure, to install the switch.
See the table in “Installation Sequence” on page 20 .
2. Position the flashlight above you and use the magnifying glass to look at the
individual pins of the top connector.
Look at the pins straight on.
