Power On the Host (Power Button)

Start the host using one of these commands:

From the CMM, type.

start /Servers/Blades/Blade_

/System

From the server module, type.

start /System

Perform any diagnostics that verify the results of servicing the server module.

Power On the Host (Power Button)

Perform this step after you install the server module in a powered modular system.

Press the Power button on the front of the server module.

“Front and Rear Panel (Service)” on page 12

to locate the Power button.

Note -

The server module power-on process can take several minutes to complete, depending on

the amount of installed memory and the configured diagnostic level.

By default, the server module boots the Oracle Solaris OS.

Perform any diagnostics that verify the results of servicing the server module.
