Verify a Fan Module

Verify a Fan Module

After you install a fan module, you can verify its functionality.

Access Oracle ILOM.

See

“Log In to Oracle ILOM (Service)” on page 26

Reset the fan module.

set /SYS/MB/FM

clear_fault_action=true

Are you sure you want to clear /SYS/MB/FM0 (y/n)?

Set 'clear_fault_action' to 'true'

where

is the fan module,

(left fan) to

(right fan).

Verify that the fan module is no longer considered faulty, then return to this

procedure.
