Shows the type of cable being tested. If a fail occurs but the
cable matches a different cable type, the match found will be
displayed in red
Front Panel Operation
Map Screen
In the Map screen the user can select a cable type to test, run the test, and save test
results to the unit. There are four possible test results to obtain on this screen: Pass ,
Mapping Fail , Connection Fail , and Power Level Fail . If a cable has a mapping failure,
the unit can determine if the mapping matches a different cable type than the one selected
for the test, provided the mapping is known to the unit.
