Parameter Setting Procedure
Parameters can be set by connecting a computer to the console port or by way of TELNET. Setting parameters using
TELNET is possible only when the Management Port of the OTS system is connected to the LAN and the IP address is
set. The procedure for setting parameters is shown below.
•
Prepare and connect a computer either through the console port of the OTS system or through TELNET.
•
Connecting through the console port or through TELNET, a command line prompt should appear with the information
of the OTS system and ask for a username and password.
•
Enter a valid username and password to gain access to the OTS system.
•
Set and parameters or configurations once logged into the system with the correct credentials.
•
Save newly set parameters using write command on the main menu.
•
Disconnect the connection between the computer and the OTS system to end parameter configuration.

The communication conditions necessary for the OTS system parameter setting terminal are shown in 2.3.2 below.
