2.) Uniformity :
Using the measurements described in light output , the maximum
deviation from the average of nine readings is specified as a
percentage of the average light output (9 measurement locations).
3.) Contrast Ratio :
The contrast ratio shall be determined from the illumination or lumi
values obtained from a black-and white checkerboard pattern consisting
of sixteen equal rectangles (see Fig. 2). The white rectangles should be
at full specified light output, as previous measured, with all controls at the
same setting.
The illumination or luminance measurements in lux shall be made at the
center of the bright (white) rectangles and dark (black) rectangles.
The average illumination or luminance value of the bright rectangles shall
be divided by the average illumination or luminance value of the dark
rectangles.
