ENVIRONMENTAL MICROPHONE
PC adapter allows the microphone connection to generic audio equipments.
It has an RJ-45 female connector to connect to the preamplifier input module.
It incorporates a power Jack socket to be supplied with 24 Vdc 100 mA from an
external power supply. No matter the Jack polarity, the adapter automatically
corrects it.
Mini-jack stereo audio output (3.5 mm Ø) is included, in which the audio signal picked up by the microphone is available.
Audio output is provided by tip and ring of an unbalanced stereo Jack. The audio connection must be made with shielded cable.
Audio output level is selectable among -60 dBu, -30 dBu and 0 dBu by using the switch of the preamplifier module.

IMPORTANT

Use the
Jack stereo - Jack stereo
cable, supplied with the unit, to connect to stereo inputs.

Use a
Jack stereo connector, without connecting the ring,
to connect to mono inputs.

Mono Jacks cannot be used. Output signal would be shorted to ground and there would not be audio output.
