Built-in fireman’s panel & microphone
for COMPACT equipment
1.
INTRODUCTION
The ME-200B is designed to be mounted on the
COMPACT audio matrix.
Is used by personnel in charge of evacuating a
building to activate or deactivate the emergency
mode, initiate or stop the pre-recorded alert and
evacuation messages and for broadcasting live
voice messages during an emergency.
Includes a hand-held microphone with a built-in
push-button. The system constantly monitors
the status of the microphone capsule.
When the system is not in Emergency Mode, the
ME-200B may be used to make live voice
announcements in local zones, using the front
controls on the audio matrix to select the
destination of the messages.

COMPONENTS
1)
Microphone.
2)
Microphone TALK push-button.
Keep the
button pressed to talk.
3)
Monitor speaker.
Allows monitoring the
channels of the audio matrix.

Microphone connection
(see figure 3).
5)
Audio level indicator.
Shows the audio level
of the microphone and of the audio channels
when they are being monitored.
6)
EMERGENCY push-button.
Emergency Mode
push-button. The push-button remains lit
while the system is in Emergency Mode.
7)
EVACUATION push-button.
Activates the
evacuation message. Operates only when the
system is in Emergency Mode. Incorporates a
push-button ON indicator light.
8)
WARNING
push-button.
Activates
the
warning message. Operates only when the
system is in Emergency Mode. Incorporates a
push-button ON indicator light.
9)
RESET push-button.
The Emergency Mode is
turned off.
10)
MICROPHONE indicator.
It illuminates when
the button (2) on the microphone is pressed
to indicate that you can begin talking.
11)
Microphone volume.
