Using Batteries
You can use two AA batteries (not sup-
plied) to power your Micro-35. We recom-
mend alkaline batteries, such as
RadioShack Cat. No. 23-552.
You can also use rechargeable nickel-cad-
mium batteries (Cat. No. 23-125) and a
battery charger (Cat. No. 23-133), avail-
able at your local RadioShack store.
Cautions:
• Use only fresh batteries of the
required size and type.
• Never leave dead or weak batteries in
the Micro-35. Batteries can leak chem-
icals that can destroy electronic cir-
cuits.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, dif-
ferent types of batteries (standard,
alkaline, or rechargeable), or
rechargeable batteries of different
capacities.
• Dispose of old batteries promptly; do
not bury or burn them.
