Operating Instructions
Electronic Body Fat Scales
Thank you for choosing Electronic Body fat scales.These
scales have been designed to accurately indicate your weight
and body fat and shoulsd give mang years of service under
normal use.
In order to get the most from your scale please carefully read
and follow the instructions provided.

Please read the following instructions carefully before use.
The scales are designed for household use only, not to be
used for commercial purposes.
Weighing Operation:
1. Remove the insulation tab from the battery contacts before
use.
2. Select the weighing mode using the switch (kg/st/lb) located
on the back of the the scales.
3. Place the scales on a firm, flat and even surface to ensure
accuracy.
4. Tap on the scales platform to switch on the product and then
step onto the platform when the Lcd display reads 0.0, stand
still the scales compute your weight.
5. Your weight will be displayed and will flash twice before it
is fixed.
6. When you step off the scales it will automatically switch off
after 6 seconds.
7. If no weighing is carried ourt while 0.0 is displayed the
scales will automatically switch off after 6 senconds.
8. This appliance is not intended for use by person (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been give supervision to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
Body fat Measurement:
In order to ensure accurate results users should enter the
required personal parameters:
Age, sex and height
These scales have the facility to store the personal parameters
of 10 people.
The technioology used in these scales, Bio–electrical
Impedance Analysis (BIA) is more technologically advanced
than the older Body Mass Index (BMI) method where fat % is
caculated using only height and weight, BIA technology uses
5 parameters to get a more accurate resolution for the analysis
(weight and biological resistance which are automatically
measured by the scales together with the three personal
parameters entered manually).
Mode selection and parameter setting:
Press and hold ■.
Press ▲ or ▼ to switch between Body Parameter 0-9.

Press ■ to confirm.
Press ▲ or ▼ to select male or female. Press ■ to confirm.
Press ▲ or ▼ to indicate height. Press ■ to confirm.
Press ▲ or ▼ to indicate age. Press ■ to confirm.
The values are flashed and recorded.
Stand on the scales after 0.0 appears. First the weight is
recorded, then
○○○
is displayed, indicating that the scales
are analysing, please do not alight. Once finished, the weight
and body fat & water will be displayed alternately for 4 times
before the scales automatically turn off. Compare the body fat
reading against the (Body Fat&Water Ration Chart) to confirm
the body status.
Ecology – Environmental Protection
The “crossed-out trash bin” symbol on electrical
equipment or packaging indicates that the device

should not be disposed of into containers for such waste.
