BEFORE THE FIRST TIME YOU USE YOUR HOT
PLATE
• Please read these operating instructions thoroughly and keep
them in a safe place for future reference.
• Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
• Before using your Hot Plate for the first time,turn the Hot
plate to the highest setting (5) for 3 to 5 minutes to condition
the protective coating.
NB
This should be the only time the Hot Plate is operated
without a cooking utensil on it.
• A pan 15 - 17cm in diameter is recommended for best results.
Smaller pans are not recommended.Ensure larger pans do not
protrude beyond the edge of the Hot Plate or the controls.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
● Place the Hot Plate on a solid,level non-flammable surface.
● Ensure that Thermostat Control is in the
0
position .
● Insert the mains plug into the mains socket.
● Rotate the Thermostat Control clockwise from 1 (low heat)
through to 5 (high heat) and leave at the desired setting. The
Neon Indicator will light to show the hot plate is being heated
up.
● Once the hot plate is at the correct temperature the Neon
Indicator will go out, the Neon Indicator will go on and off
during use to show the temperature of the hot plate is being
maintained.
● Return the Thermostat control the
0
position and remove the
mains plug from the socket after use.
CARE AND USE OF YOUR HOT PLATE
●
Always disconnect the Hot Plate from the mains power
supply and allow to cool before cleaning.
● Clean the outside of the Hot Plate with a soft damp cloth.
Never clean the Hot Plate with harsh or abrasive cleaners.
● Do not submerge any part of Hot Plate or its cord in water or
any other liquids.
