1. Read all instructions prior to using the Electric Knife Sharpener.

8. ALWAYS check that the knife sharpener is turned OFF before plugging the cord into the outlet, and
then turn the knife sharpener ON. To disconnect, turn the knife sharpener OFF before removing the
cord from the outlet.
9. ALWAYS unplug the knife sharpener from the outlet after use and before cleaning.
10. Do NOT operate with a damaged cord or plug.
11. Do NOT let cord hang over countertop or tabletop.
12. Do NOT let cord touch a hot surface.
13. Carefully route the cord to avoid damage from knife blades while sharpening.
14. This Electric Knife Sharpener has a polarized plug. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will
fit in a polarized outlet only one Way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If
it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
15. Do NOT place knife sharpener near or on a hot surface.
16. Do NOT touch any moving parts inside the Electric Knife Sharpener.
17. If Electric Knife Sharpener becomes hot while in use, unplug it from the outlet.
18. If Electric Knife Sharpener malfunctions or becomes damaged in any way, return it to the service center.
19. Do NOT use device for anything other than its intended use.
