Using color filters
Selecting the appropriate color filters according
your need. (Fig.20)
You can stack a group of color filters in the filter
holder, if you ensure that they are level and
that the whole thickness is less than 11mm.
Tilting the condenser holder
When a bigger space is needed between
condenser front lens and stage surface, it is
convenient to tilt the condenser. Doing this it is
possible to use the ambient light to illuminate
the specimen. (Fig. 21)
Rotating the illumination pillar
When using big bottles, the illumination pillar
can be rotated out of the light path allowing to
place them on the stage.
Rotate the knob on the right side of the
illumination pillar (Fig. 22) to unlock the
rotation, then swing out the condenser holder
from the light path (Fig. 23).
Once terminated the observation return the
illumination column to its original position and
lock the knob.
