Changing The Battery:
• The waterproof battery compartment is conveniently located at the bottom of the
instrument. The compartment cover latch is located at the bottom and rear of the unit.
• Turn the instrument upside down. Using your finger or thumbnail, gently pry the battery
door latch (located at the bottom rear edge of the rangefinder) away from the body of the
instrument until it makes an approximate 90 degree angle with the battery door.
• Gently pull the door away from the bottom. It will be snug.
• Note the position of the door and battery. Battery Positive faces out.
• Replace the battery and door in the reverse order. MAKE CERTAIN THAT THE DOOR LATCH
IS 90 degrees out, before pressing the battery door into the housing.
• Pressing the battery door flush against the underside of the instrument with your thumb,
snap the latch back in place.
