3. Top drawers ( Stage 3 )
a) Measure and saw the 4 wooden sides
(1) and drill the 1.5 mm diameter holes
for the screws ( Diagram 5)
b) Mark out and saw the mitred corners,
assemble and glue the strips together
c) Measure and saw the wood strips for
the dividers (3) to 180mm. Saw and
chisel a slots in the middle as shown (
Diagram 6)
Note.
Make sure that the sides with the
holes line up with each other !
Glue the assembled wooden strips on
to the plywood base
Repeat this stage once more as two of
these drawers are needed
d) Assemble and insert the dividers with
slots 3c in the drawer
And glue them in place ( Diagram 7)

4. The lids

b) Assemble and glue plywood sheet (9) in the middle of
plywood sheet (10) ( Diagram 8)
c) Mark out and saw 4 x 50mm lengths from wooden
strip (4) Sand them to finish. Glue one piece on the
middle of each lid.( Diagram 9 )
The remaining pieces are glued on the ends of the top
drawers in the middle. ( Diagram 7 )
