Computer and Software 

The PC is the “brain” of your kiosk, connecting components to OpenTech’s 

INSOMNIAC® software, and it uses a Windows operating system.  

 

Models 220, 720 and 920 use a small Micro-PC mounted to the back wall of the kiosk 

and held in place with a metal bracket. Most connections use color-coded USBs cords. 

 
If you confirm that the power and internet are operating properly, problems with the PC 

will require technician assistance. You may be asked to open the 

Admin Console

 for 

rebooting, or to help with performing tests.

 

Safety Tip 

 

For your safety and to avoid damaging the kiosk, turn off power when working inside the 

kiosk, unless a technician requests otherwise (some procedures require power).
