HARD DRIVE ARRAY
Hard drives in the X
r
-Series NVR are arranged left to right in the HDD cage. A minimum of one and a maximum of five hard drives
may be installed in the hard drive cage. The hard drive installed in bay one contains the operating system and if removed will render
the NVR inoperable.
SWAPPING A HARD DRIVE
1. Turn off power to the NVR.
2. Push the appropriate Hard Drive Power Button to turn off
the power to the hard drive.
3. Turn the hard drive bay lock counter-clockwise to unlock
the handle.
4. Push the Release Button to release the handle.
5. Pull the handle out to remove the hard drive.
6. Reverse steps to install a new hard drive.
7. Press the Power Switch to turn the NVR on.
