Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the mounting plate from the base of the camera.

Use the mounting plate to mark the location you want to install your camera on the
ceiling. Mark the location of the holes for the mounting screws as well as the hole for
the camera cables, as needed.
The holes on the mounting plate allow it to attach directly to a 4S electrical box.
5.
Drill the appropriate holes in your wall or ceiling, and then insert the included anchors.
6.
Use the included screws to attach the mounting plate to the ceiling.
7.
Run your cables to the location of your camera using the necessary holes.
8.
Connect the power and Ethernet connectors on the camera with their respective
cables.
The power cable is omitted if using PoE.
9.
Place the camera base on the mounting plate, and tighten the screws highlighted in
Step 3.
