Privacy Zone Configuration
Use the privacy zone settings to block out sections of the video scene. Up to 16 privacy
zones are available. Use the following steps to set up privacy zones:
1. Enable Privacy Zones by switching Mode to On, and click Apply.
2. If desired you can use the color switcher to change the color of the privacy mask.
3. Select the number of privacy masks you need. You can easily uncheck all the
masks with the
Hide All button.
4. Select the Zone you wish to configure from the Zone drop-down box.
5. Adjust the position and size of the zone using the Position and Size boxes and
click
Apply to save your changes.
Camera Setup
Adjust your image quality in the Picture Setup section.
Day/Night Mode
–
Use this setting to force the camera into daytime mode or night mode.
IR LED Mode
–
This setting allows you to disable the IR LEDs so they do not turn on
when the camera switches to night mode.
Brightness
–
Adjust the image
’s brightness on the camera. The Backlight value is
adjustable from 0 (dim) ~ +20 (brightest).
Sharpness
–
Increasing the sharpness level can make the image looked sharper; it
especially enhances an object
’s edge. The value of sharpness is adjustable from
0 ~ +10
(sharpest).
You can change the orientation of the video output if necessary.
Normal Video
–
This is the default rotation designed for a normal setup with the camera
mounted with the dome facing down.
Flip Video
–
This option will vertically flip the video image (without the intervention of
another device this may cause the reversal of perceived left and right when viewing the
image).
Mirror Video
–
This option will horizontally flip the video image (without the intervention of
another device this may cause the reversal of perceived left and right when viewing the
image).
Click Apply to save your changes.
