Adjusting ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins
1.
Open Internet Explorer.
2.
Click the
Tools
tab in the menu bar.
3.
Click Internet Options.
4.
Click
Custom Level.
The
Security Settings
window will pop up.
5.
Under
ActiveX Controls and Plug Ins
, set all items to
Enable
or
Prompt
.
Items may vary according to your version of Internet Explorer.
ActiveX controls and plug-ins settings:
Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt.
Allow Scriptlets.
Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls.
Binary and script behaviors.
Display video and animation on a web page that does not use external
media player.
Download signed ActiveX controls.
Download unsigned ActiveX controls.
Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting.
Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins.
Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting.
6.
Click
OK
to accept the settings and close the Security Settings window.
7.
Click
OK
to close the Internet Options screen.
8.
Close the browser window. You will need to open a new window in order to
access the IP camera.
