6.6 Distance
Measure distance of several points and save it as a route
1. 1.Press [ F ] key in plotter screen to display Function menu
2. Select Distance and press [ ENT ] to activate the distance measurement function.
Note:
1) LON/LAT is the position of the cursor (point C)
2) BRG is the bearing of cursor to last point (point B)Fig.3
3) LEG is the distance of cursor to last point (point B)
4) DST is the total distance from the cursor to the starting point (AB + BC)
5) M is Magnetic North, T is True North
3. Move the cursor to starting point (A) and press [ENT] to set up starting point.
Now all BRG, LEG and DST are display 0.
4. Move the cursor to next point (B). Now the BRG and LEG display the Bearing
and Distance from point A to point B, DST=0
