Measurement C: Weight Distribution
Engaged
Engage the weight distribution by placing the spring
arms on the L-brackets.
Perform the final measurement in the same place as
the first two measurements, and press
to record
measurement “C”. If measurements are taken in
different places, the results will be incorrect.
After taking all three measurements, the OnTarget
will calculate, as a percentage, the current weight
distribution achieved.
After Measuring
Refer to your tow vehicle manufacturer’s
recommended weight distribution amount. If not
specified, we recommend between 50-100%.
If you are not within that range, adjust your hitch
accordingly then test drive your setup. If you need
more or less weight distribution, make adjustments
and measure again. Repeat this step as needed.
Memory Function
Hold the
SAVE BUTTON
for a few seconds to
save a snapshot of current measurement values.
This works for all measuring functions (area,
volume, etc).
Reading or deleting saved measurements
1. Press to view saved measurements.
2. To scroll, press the .
3. Press
CLEAR
to delete a measurement set.
4. Hold
CLEAR
to delete all measurement sets.
5. When storage is full, the screen will display
.
6. Press to exit.
