Powering Your TV

1. Connect the power cord to an AC wall outlet

Connecting to an Antenna or Cable

Connect an Antenna, cable or cable box to watch TV.

- Make sure not to bend the copper wire of the RF cable

- Complete all connections between devices, and then connect the power cord to the power

outlet to prevent damage to your TV.

2. To turn your TV on, press the power button     on the remote control or on the TV.

3. To turn your TV off, press the power button     on the remote control or press and

hold it for 3 seconds on the TV..

Your TV should only be connected to an AC supply. It must not be connected

to a DC supply. If the plug is detached from the cable, do not, under any

circumstances, connect it to a mains socket, as there is a risk of electric shock.

Other Connections

Connect your TV to external devices.  For the best picture and audio quality, connect the external

device and TV with an HDMI cable.

WARNING

Never place a TV in an unstable location. A TV may fall, causing serious

personal injury or death. Many injuries, particularly to children, can be avoided by taking simple

precautions such as:

– Using cabinets or stands recommended by the manufacturer of the TV.

– Only using furniture that can safely support the TV.

– Ensuring the TV is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.

– Not placing the TV on tall furniture (for example, cupboards or bookcases) without

anchoring both the furniture and the TV to a suitable support.

– Not placing the TV on cloth or other materials that may be located between the

TV and supporting furniture.

– Educating children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the TV or its

controls.

If your existing TV is being retained and relocated, the same considerations as above

should be applied.
