Check the following before requesting service:

The unit does not
start playback.

Password has been
forgotten.
The connected TV power is off.
The disc is dirty.
The batteries are not installed properly.
Color system of the player has wrong
settings.
The connection cables are not installed
correctly.
Re-install the connection cables.
Press the VIDEO Button repeatedly
until correct picture appears on TV.
Turn on TV.
Press the P/N Button repeatedly to set to
correct system to match connected TV.
Clean the disc.
Replace batteries.
Install batteries as the polarity markings
inside battery compartment.
The remote is not aimed at the sensor.
Distance is too far.
There is an obstacle in the path of the beam.
Aim the remote to the sensor.
Operate within 15 feet.
Remove obstacle.
DVD not inserted, or inserted
upside-down.
Insert DVD disc correctly.
A non-playable disc is inserted.
Try other CD, DVD discs.
The disc is not placed on the tray.
The disc is dirty.
Clean the disc.
Some features and functions are
not available on the current discs.
Try other discs.
Use the default password "1234" to unlock
The video output of the player are
incorrectly.
Place the disc on the disc tray with label
side face up.
The batteries are weak or dead.
