Instructions
Listening to a record
1. Raise the dust cover.
2. Connect the AC power cord to an electrical outlet.
3. Turn the power on/off knob in a clockwise direction: the indicator light will
illuminate.
4. Adjust the volume to your desired level.
5. Turn the function switch in a clockwise direction to PHONO.
6. Place a record on the turntable.
7. Use the speed switch to select the appropriate player speed (33/45/78
rpm) according to your record.
NOTE: If required, use the 45 rpm adaptor for playing 45 rpm records.
The stylus can be used for all three speeds.
8. Set the auto stop control to ON if you want the turntable to stop turning
when it has reached the end of the record. If the switch is set to OFF, the
turntable will continue turning at the end of the record.
9. Remove the stylus guard.
10. If the tone arm lock is engaged, open it so the tone arm can move freely.
Remove the tone arm from the rest, push the lift lever backward to raise
it and then gently move the tone arm to the desired position over the
record. The turntable will begin turning when the arm is moved toward
the record.
11. Push the lift lever forward to lower the tone arm slowly onto the desired
position on the record and begin playing the record.
12. At the end of playing the record, push the lift lever backward to raise the
tone arm and gently move it back to its rest.
13. When you have finished playing records, engage the tone arm lock to
protect it from accidental movement. Insert the stylus guard. Turn the
power on/off knob in a counterclockwise direction to switch the unit off.
Unplug it from the power supply if you are not going to use it for a while.
IMPORTANT:
To avoid stylus damage,
make certain the included stylus guard
is in place whenever the turntable is
being installed, moved or cleaned.
