Connecting to a computer
• You can connect the Action Camera Glasses to a computer for data
transfer in power off or standby mode. The computer will recognise the
Action Camera Glasses as a USB Removable Disk. The recorded files will
be saved in the the *disk\DCIM\100DSCIM\ directory.
• To disconnect the Action Camera Glasses from the computer, right-click
on “Removable Disk” and select “Eject”. When the system advises that the
hardware can be safely removed, gently pull out the USB cable from
the computer.
NOTE:
The time it takes to identify a removable disk will depend on your
computer system and configuration. Please be patient and do not
use the Action Camera Glasses during this period. If the removable
disk is not recognised even after a long period, re-insert the device
and make sure that your computer operating system and USB cable
are both operating normally. When disconnecting the Action Camera
Glasses, follow the normal procedure to avoid to damaging the
computer or device.
Updating Date and Time
The date and time has been set at the factory. However, the Action Camera Glasses
will lose date and time settings if the battery fully discharges. To update the date and
time, proceed as follows:
1. Connect the 2.5mm/USB cable into the computer and then into the Action
Camera Glasses.
2. Open Notepad on a PC or TextEdit on a Mac. Type in the current date and time in
yyyy.MM.dd hh:mm:ss format (for example, 2012.12.31 23:59:59).
3. Save the file to the root directory of the Micro SD card as ‘time.txt’.
4. Unplug the Action Camera Glasses from the computer. The Action Camera
Glasses will now update their timestamp.
NOTE:
The ‘time.txt’ file will no longer be visible on the Micro SD Card once the
glasses have been unplugged from the computer and then plugged back in.
Reset
• If the glasses function abnormally or do not respond, use a pin to press the
Reset
button to restore factory default settings.
