Maintenance Functions - 122
Slide the lock off the door.
Reverse the above steps to install the replacement lock.
With the door open, use the Portable Programmer to
Initialize the new lock to the correct room number.
Insert and remove an encoded key for the room to
display proper functionality before allowing the door to
close.
A Room Needs to be Taken Out of Inventory
For Maintenance Purposes
To remove a room from inventory for maintenance
purposes, use the Rooms out of Service function from
the Maintenance Menu to select the room to be
removed from inventory.
If access to the room needs to be further restricted, the
Blocking Card can be used. Simply insert and remove
the Blocking Card. You will see a flashing red light on
the lock indicating that it is now blocked. Only those
master keys that have the blocking override attribute on
them will be able to gain access to the room (the master
must also be assigned to the locking plan of the lock in
addition to the blocking override, such as proper code,
authorizations, date & time, etc.).
A Key Will Not Open a Lock
