rePlacing the batteries
It is recommended that you replace the battery every 12 months.
Unscrew the screws from underneath the Battery Cover (9) and remove it from the
Solar Panel (1)-see Figure 1.
Remove and properly recycle the old battery. Make certain that the new battery is
Ni-Cd
( “AA”, 1.2V, 600 mAh) rechargeable.
Install the new battery into the Battery Compartment. Make certain that the battery
is placed according to the correct polarity-see Figure 1.

Replace the cover and screw it back into place.
insPection, Maintenance and cleaning
Clean regularly with a damp towel. Do not use any type of solvent for cleaning. Do
not put too much pressure on the Light, Solar Panel or accessories while cleaning.
Dry thoroughly.
warning! Make sure the Auto/Off Switch is in its “OFF” position before per-
forming any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures.
before each use, inspect the general condition of the Solar Light Set. Check
for loose screws, cracked or broken parts, damaged electrical wiring, and any other
condition that may affect its safe operation.
