This Umbrella is intended for use only with a heavy duty umbrella stand which is not
provided with this product. Order the Umbrela Stand fromm Harbor Freight Tools.
Ask for SKU # 94041, Granite Stand.
Before setting up and using, make sure the Umbrella Light Switch (4) is turned off.
(See Figure 3, page 5.
Place the umbrella stand (not included) on a flat, smooth surface. Choose a sunny
location, allowing enough space for the height and the diameter of the Umbrella. The
Solar Panel (5) at the top of the Umbrella (1) needs to be in a sunny location in order to
charge. Allow at least 8 hours of sunlight for charging before first use. Placing the Um-
brella under a tree or in a shady area will not allow the batteries to charge. See Figure 1.

ditions. doing so may cause personal injury and/or damage to the umbrella
and personal property.
To assemble, insert Lower Pole (2) with its threaded end upward, securely into a
heavy duty umbrella stand (not included).
Screw the Upper Pole (1), with its pre-attached upper umbrella assembly, securely
into the Lower Pole (2). Caution: DO NOT attempt to use this Umbrella in moderate
or high wind conditions. Doing so may cause personal injury and/or damage to the
Umbrella and personal property.
Hand-crank the Crank (8) clockwise in order to raise the hub above the
self-locking safety lock, thereby locking the upper umbrella assembly into
place. (See Figure 2, next page.) The Solar Umbrella is now ready for use.
