Hanging and operating the Lantern
When choosing a location to hang the Lantern, adhere to the following criteria:
1.
The area should be protected from wind and water.
2.
The Lantern should not hang in close proximity to anything flammable.
3.
Do not hang the Lantern directly over a walkway of any kind.
4.
Insert a threaded hook (not included) into solid wood or use an appropriate anchor
system (not included) capable of holding the weight of the Lantern and the wire or
cable it will hang from. Prior to mounting, inspect the Hanging Ring (10) to make
sure it is not damaged.
5.
Connect a metal chain or wire (not included) to the hook (not included), and then
connect to the Hanging Ring (10) on the Lantern.
6.
Tug gently on the Lantern to make sure it is held securely.
7.
Turn the Switch (6) to HIGH or LOW. See FIGURE 1 on page 8.
8.
When you are finished using the Lantern, turn off the Switch (6).
