domestic use; the manufacturer‘s liability shall not be engaged in the event of any professional
use, by any misuse or by any use not complying with the operating instructions.
• Save these instructions.
• Any alteration done to the product might reduce its safety and leads to loss of guarantee.
• Be careful handeling this product. Hits and also falling from even small heights could do serious
damage to the product.
Location
Place the solar light where the solar panel can receive at least 8 hours of full and direct sunlight. By
placing the solar light in a shady area it will reduce the battery charge and will shorten the duration
of the light at night.
The solar light has a built in sensor to automatically turn on when dark and off when bright, hence
placing it near an area where there is a bright light is not advisable.
The solar light is ideal for lighting garden foot path and lawns at night.
Replacing the Batteries
The rechargeable battery included will need replacement at least every 12 months to ensure constant
performance. NI-CD or NI-Mh rechargeable battery can be used.
The battery is spring-loaded, press in the opposite side of the spring and Iift out the battery. Reverse
this process when installing new battery.
Initial Use
Ensure the switch is at the ON position. Charge the solar light for the first 6-8 hours in direct sunlight.
This will allow the recharging of the battery to reach its maximum capacity.
lf the lights did not automatically turn on at night after 8 hours exposure to sunlight, please check
whether
• the switch is at the ON position.
• the battery it is securely in contact with the terminals.
• the product is placed in an area where the solar panel can receive direct sunlight.
