SAFETY INFORMATION
Intended Use
These pads should be used only for applying electrical stimulation with the Omron
Electrotherapy Pain Relief Unit (PM3030) and applied on normal, healthy, dry, and clean skin
of adult patients only.
• 1 session - 15 min. with automatic shut off
• Max min. per session - 30 min. or 2 sessions
• Max times per day - 3 times/day
Do not use these pads for stimulation if you have a cardiac pacemaker, implanted
defibrillator, or other implanted metallic or electronic device. Such use could cause
electric shock, burns, electrical interference, or death.
Do not place the pads:
Over your neck because this could cause severe muscle spasms resulting in closure
of your airway, difficulty in breathing, or adverse effects on heart rhythm or blood
pressure.
Across your chest because the introduction of electrical current into the chest may
cause rhythm disturbances to your heart, which could be lethal.
Over open wounds or rashes, or over swollen, red, infected, or inflamed areas or skin
eruption, for example: phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, varicose veins.
Over, or in proximity to, cancerous lesion.
Over areas of skin that lack normal sensation.
On the opposite sides of your head since the effects of stimulation of the brain are
unknown.
