3-3 CVM1-LK401 Switch Settings
This section explains how to make the necessary settings in the replacement
CVM1-LK401 PC Link Unit and compares the settings to the ones in the
C500-LK009-V1 PC Link Unit being replaced.
3-3-1 Setting the Unit Number
This setting was not required with the C500-LK009-V1, but it is required with
the CVM1-LK401 because the CVM1-LK401 is a CPU Bus Unit.
The unit number setting range is 0 to 15. Do not set a unit number that is
already set on another CPU Bus Unit mounted in the same PLC. If there are
no other CPU Bus Units in the PLC, the unit number can be left set to 0.
3-3-2 Setting the Node Address in the PC Link
Set the CVM1-LK401’s node address in the PC Link to the same node
address that was set on the C500-LK009-V1. Remove the front cover of the
C500-LK009-V1 to check the settings on pins 1 to 5 of the DIP switch (node
address setting). The following table shows the relationship between the pin
settings and node address.
Set that node address on the CVM1-LK401.
