Serial
Communications
Expansion
When serial communications are required for a CP1L-EL/EM CPU Unit, an
RS-232C or RS-422A/485 Option Board can be added.
Two Option Boards can be mounted with a CPU Units with 30 or 40 I/O points
and one Option Board can be mounted with a CPU Units with 20 I/O points.
This enables connection by serial communications to NS-series PTs, Bar
Code Readers, components such as Inverters, and computers without Ether-
net ports (such as when using the CX-Programmer).
