Communications Mode Settings
The following communications modes are set with pin 5.

-V2 Master Units can use Long-distance Communications Mode.
2.
Make sure that the communications mode of the Slave is the same as that
of the Master Unit. If the communications modes are not the same, normal
communications with the Master Unit will not be possible. The operating
status of the Slave can be verified with LED indicators. Refer to
for details.
Hold/Clear Outputs for Communications Error
Pin 6 is used to set the output data status when a communications error
occurs, as shown in the following table.
