Probe Installation Guide
Wiring (wired probes)
The MTG Probe has three wires that are color coded as follows:
WHITE = Signal
BLACK = Signal Ground
GREEN = Shield (connected to drain of extension cable)
1.
Bring the probe’s cable to a weatherproof junction box.
2.
Make all wiring connections using the provided SK-4 connector sealing kit. Follow the
instructions within the seal kit for proper installation.
MTG Probe Connections at the Controller
1.
Connect the Signal wire (white) to the positive (+) terminal of the corresponding Tank #
(See Figure 4.0).
2.
Connect both the Signal Ground wire (black) and the Shield/Drain wire (bare) to the
negative (-) terminal of the corresponding Tank # (See Figure 4.0).
