Setup
Rack installation
Install the unit on a plane surface or in your rack. For 19" (483 mm) rack installation, 1 unit is required. When
mounting the unit into the rack, please make sure that there is enough space around the device so that the
heated air can be passed on. Steady overheating will damage your device. You can fix the unit with four
screws M6 in the rack.
Cable connections
To avoid interfering noise, switch off the mixing amplifier or set the output controls to minimum prior to
connecting and disconnecting equipment. Be sure to use only high-grade cables. The illustrations below
show the wiring of these cables.

1)
An audio unit with line level (e.g. CD player, tuner, mixer) can be connected to the stereo XLR or RCA
INPUT jacks. Always connect the left channel to the white jack and the right channel to the red jack.
2)
Use the MIC jack to connect a dynamic microphone via an XLR or 6.3 mm jack plug.
3)
The amplifier can operate two speakers or two speaker groups. The amplifier is able to deliver 2 x 50
watts for 4 Ω speakers and 2 x 30 watts for 8 Ω speakers. Connect one speaker to the left channel L
and the other to the right channel R. Use either the screw terminals or the banana jacks to make the
connections.
Always use sufficiently dimensioned cables (min. 2.5 mm²). When interconnecting several speakers, it
is especially important to consider the correct connection to positive and negative contacts and that the
minimum total impedance is 4 Ω. Please refer to skilled personnel if you are not familiar with the
connection of several speakers.
4)
For connection to units with line level (e.g. recording unit or additional amplifier) the stereo XLR or RCA
OUTPUT jacks can be used.
5)
Finally, connect the amplifier to a mains outlet with the mains cable.
