Cannot connect to WiFi
network
WiFi antenna not connected
•
Screw on the WiFi antenna to the
antenna jack and put it in a vertical
position.
Network down
•
Check if another device, such as a
computer or tablet, can access the
internet through the WiFi network.
•
Check if a DHCP server is available or if
a static IP address is properly
configured.
•
Make sure that your firewall does not
block any of the output ports.
Router restricts access to listed
MAC addresses
Determine the MAC address via
Configuration > Information > Network
information > Wi-Fi MAC or >LAN MAC
and add it to the allowed equipment list
of your router (AP).
Insufficient WiFi signal strength
•
Check the distance between radio and
WiFi router and check if a computer
successfully establishes an Internet
connection from this distance.
•
If not, move the radio closer to the router.
Unknown encryption method
Change the encryption method to WEP,
WPA or WPA2.
Wrong WiFi password
Check if the right WiFi password has been
entered. Observe capitalization.
Particular radio stations
cannot be played
•
The station is not broadcasting at
this time of the day (keep in mind
that it may be located in a different
time zone)
•
The station has too many people
tuned in and experiences server
congestion
•
The maximum number of listeners
tuned in has been reached
•
The URL is out of date; however, it
is updated daily so you should be
able to receive the station the next
time you tune in

Reset settings to default and extend the

Wrong network
Check if radio and the media server are in
the same network.
Firewall blocks access
A firewall that may block access to the
released or public folders is active on your
media server. Disable the firewall briefly for
verification.
