The u pper basket is designed to hold more delicate
and lighter dishware such as glasses, coffee and
tea cups and saucers, as well as pl ates, small bowls
and shallow pans (as l ong as they are not too di rty).
Position the dishe s an d co okw are so that they will
not get moved by the spray of w ate r.
We suggest that you place large items and the most difficult
to clea n ite ms into the lower basket: such as pots, pans, lids,
serving dishes and bowls, as shown in the figure below.
It is preferable to place serving dish es a nd lids on the side of
the racks in order to avoid blocking the r otation of the top
spray arm.
Pots, ser ving bowls, etc, must always be placed to p down.
D eep pots should be slan ted to allow water to flow out.

Adjusting the Upper Basket
Th e height of the upper basket can be ad jus ted in ord er to
create more sp ace for large utensils both for the upp er
/lower basket. The height o f the upp er basket ca n be
adjusted by placing the wheels on different height of the
rai ls. L ong items, serving cutlery, salad servers and knives
should be placed on the shelf so that they do not obstruct
the rotation of t he spray arms..
