Erratic Action
Air in the system or pump cavitation
Vent the system
Extensive leakage in the cylinder
Contact the service center
Cylinder is sticking or binding
Contact the service center
Cylinder will not extend, or respond to pressurized
fluid
Loose couplers
Tighten couplers
Faulty couplers
Replace both male and female couplers
Improper valve position
Close release valve or change the pump position
Low or none hydraulic fluid in pump reservoir
Fill and bleed the system
Air is trapped inside the pump
Vent the system
Pump is not operating
Check the pump’s operating instructions
Load is above the capacity of the system
Use the correct equipment
Cylinder extends only partially
Low or none hydraulic fluid in pump reservoir
Fill and bleed the system
Load is above the capacity of the system
Use the correct equipment
Pump or valve is malfunctioning
Contact the service center
Cylinder moves slower than normal
Loose connection or coupler
Tighten connection or coupler
Restricted hydraulic line or fitting
Clean and replace if damaged
Pump is not working correctly
Check the pump’s operating instructions
Cylinder seals leaking
Replace the cylinder, contact the service center
Cylinder moves but does not maintain pressure
Load is above the capacity of the system
Remedy overload condition
Cylinder seals leaking
Replace the cylinder, contact the service center
Pump or valve is malfunctioning
Check the pump’s operating instructions
Cylinder leaks hydraulic fluid
Worn or damaged seals
Replace the cylinder, contact the service center
Cylinder will not retract or retracts slower than
normal
Pump release valve is closed, improper valve position
Open the pump release valve, change the valve
position
Malfunctioning coupler, damaged application
Secure load by other means, depressurize pump
and hoses. Remove application from the load area
and replace coupler
Pump reservoir is overfilled
Secure load by other means, depressurize pump
and hoses. Remove application from the load area,
drain the fluid to proper oil level
Loose couplers
Tighten couplers
Cylinder is damaged internally
Replace the cylinder, contact the service center
Poor performance
Low or none hydraulic fluid in the pump reservoir
Fill and bleed the system
Air is trapped in the system
Vent the system
Clean the outside of the press with a dry, soft, clean cloth and periodically lubricate the joints and all moving parts
with a light oil.
When not in use, store press in a dry place with plunger and piston fully retracted.
When press efficiency decreases, remove air from the hydraulic system as described in 4.
Check the hydraulic oil level : Remove the oil filler plug (16) at the top of the tank / pump. When the amount of oil
is not enough, fill with a high-quality hydraulic oil. Then re-insert the oil filler plug, remove air from the hydraulic
system as described in 4.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
5
5.A Place the delta plates (12) on the press bed (5), then place the workpiece on the delta plates.
5.B Turn the valve on the side (14) counterclockwise to set the plunger on low speed mode for safety.
5.C Close the valve on the front (15) by turning it clockwise.
5.D Place the workpiece and plunger in one line in order to ensure that the workpiece is centrally placed.
5.E Use the foot pedal(8) or pump lever (10) to operate the plunger with speed.
5.F Turn the valve on the side (14) clockwise, and the plunger will move faster at low pressure until the plunger touch
the workpiece.
5.G Turn the valve on the side (14) counterclockwise for more pressure to processing the workpiece slowly.
5.H After completing the process, turn the value on the front (15) counterclockwise to release the pump and then the
plunger will retract.
5.I When the plunger is fully retracted, remove the workpiece from the press bed.
