Note: Use of the flash is recommended if
blinks
in the viewfinder when the flash isn't flipped up.
Otherwise the camera will select a long exposure
and pictures may be blurred due to camera shake.
In the dark, the flash also functions as
an autofocus illuminator. When the
shutter release button is pressed
halfway, the flash emits several brief
pre-flashes. When the shutter release
button is pressed fully, the flash fires
to take the picture. Hold the camera
firmly until then.
