If the microscope body moves up and down under its own weight, rotate the
balance adjustment handle to stop it from moving:
If the microscope body moves up, rotate the balance adjustment handle
counterclockwise.
If the microscope body moves down, rotate the balance adjustment handle
clockwise (see Figure 4.7).

Adjusting the rotation tension of rotating parts

When you move the microscope body, be careful not to get
your hand or fingers caught between the moving portions of
the arm.

If you loosen the rotation tension adjustment handle too
much, it may fall off. Be careful not to let the handle fall off.
