6 Stereo measurement procedures (RX (stereo measurement function) only)
The measurement values must be checked before and after measurement.
See "6.5 Checking measurement values" (P. 58) for details about operations.

While displaying the spot ranging screen, live/freeze screen (binocular view
type) or the retrieve screen (image recorded in the binocular view type), short-
press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
The measurement method selection screen is displayed.

Select the measurement method.
For details of the measurement method, see "Measurement method types" (P. 66).
Select the measurement method to display the measurement screen.

Specify the measurement point and confirm the corresponding point.
Specify the measurement points or reference points in the left image area.
The corresponding points (points in the right image area corresponding to measurement points
or reference points specified in the left image area) are displayed in the right image area.
Confirm that positions of measurement points or reference points (in the left image area) are
same as positions of corresponding points (in the right image area).

cation of measurement points" (P. 67).

Record the measurement result.
Long-press the [FRZ/REC] button to record the image in the binocular view type and the image
with the measurement results.

Exit from measurement
Press the [LIVE/GAIN] button to display the exit measurement screen and then select "OK" to
exit stereo measurement. Select "CANCEL" to return to the measurement screen.
Select "EXIT" in the measurement menu to exit measuring and return to the screen before ste-
reo measurement is activated.

Capture the multiple images with different view points, and measure them.
●
Make sure that the measurement area is not blurred on the acquired image.
●
The still image recorded in the monocular view type cannot be measured.
