2.2

Changing the Encoder Location

There are six possible locations for mounting the encoder: two locations are provided 
on the outside of the frame, near two of the corners; four other locations are provided 
on the inside of the frame, near the corners (see Figure 2-6 on page 25). Use a 
hexagonal key to install or remove the encoder.

Probe Holders Adjustment and Maintenance

Ultrasonic transducers and phased array probes are mounted on the scanner through 
the use of probe holders (see Figure 2-7 on page 26).
