Scanner Assembly and Setup

To install springs on the bearing arm

1.

Insert a mounting screw through the end loop of one of the springs, and then 
screw the screw into one of the threaded holes at the top of the bearing arm, as 
shown in Figure 2-23 on page 31.
Lift up the bearing arm for ease of access.
